Condensation can create moisture problems because the water from condensation can build up. Condensation often occurs on cold surfaces, like windows and metal pipes. If you often see condensation, it could be a sign of a moisture problem, and perhaps a mold problem. Humidity levels above 60% can lead to mold growth. Keeping your home's humidity level between 30% and 60% is generally recommended.
