Apartment Parade

This month SERVPRO got to participate in a parade social distance style. We were able to provide information and goodies to our local apartment managers and office staff, while staying in our vehicles. It was a great way to let them know we are here to help if you need us. 

Tami Hits 5 years

Celebrations look a little different around the office now but we still like to celebrate anniversaries. Thank you Tami for a great 5 years and cheers to many more.

Feeding America

During the pandemic our community has seen a rise in the need of volunteers. Our Owners and Marketing team have been volunteering regularly at our local Feeding America location. 

Roanoke Valley SPCA Christmas in July

SERVPRO of Roanoke was happy to help in the collection of donations for the RVSPCA's Christmas in July.  The Roanoke Valley SPCA relies solely on the donations of the community to keep their organization running.  The summer months provide a slower influx of donations, which is why an event such as the Christmas in July is so important!  Thank you to The Village on Pheasant Ridge for providing us with a wonderful lunch to celebrate the fundraiser's success!

Bigs in Badges

We are proud to be sponsors of the Bigs In Badges program, and we were happy to be able to attend their wonderful pinning event at the Gainsboro Branch of the Roanoke City Public Library where many of our local heroes from both the City of Salem Sheriff's Office, Virginia, Roanoke County Sheriff's Office, Roanoke city police department, and Vinton Police Department, VA were honored.

Deodorization of Malodors Course

Lisa Bain taught the first of our back to back CE courses on the Deodorization of Malodors!  Thank you to SpringHill Suites in Roanoke for hosting us, and for always providing such a delicious lunch!

July CE Class

We had another wonderful, back to back, CE course this July.  Mason taught our Understanding Hoarding in the Restoration Industry course which followed our Deodorization of Malodors course taught by Lisa Bain!

PIA Annual Convention and Trade Show

Carolyn and Mason represented the SERVPRO team at the 82nd PIA Annual Convention and Trade Show this past Sunday!  They did a great job going all out for the Football Tailgate theme!

Annual Guns n' Hoses Game

It was a beautiful day for our annual Guns n' Hoses softball game this past Saturday at the Haley Toyota Field!  We had a great turnout, and we were lucky enough to see the sun for (almost) the whole game!

Roanoke Rampage Heads to Championship Game!

Our local Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football Team is headed to the National Championship game in Philadelphia, PA! We are proud sponsors of these local heroes who we hope to see win it all!

Ethics Course

We love working with our local hotels in the area to host our continuing education courses, and this Ethics course went exceptionally well!  Thank you to the Holiday Inn Christiansburg Blacksburg for providing us with a great room and an even better meal!

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day to attend the Kelly Cafe ribbon cutting!  They were kind enough to share some of their delicious treats and teas with us, and they did not disappoint!  

Golf Tournament for the Pulaski Chamber of Commerce

It was another wonderful day for supporting the Pulaski Chamber of Commerce at their golf tournament.  It was hosted at the beautiful Thorn Springs Golf Course on Friday, May 11!

Healthy Kids Day

The YMCA hosted a Healthy Kids Day at the Salem VA location.  SERVPRO of Roanoke sponsored and provided Child Identification Kits to all the children in attendance.  We even had a smallest SERVPRO Marketing Rep in attendance to help keep all our new friends safe!

Managing Psychological Trauma

We were honored to sponsor an event for our local claims adjusters, presented by Dr. Ray Shelton, National Center for Crisis Management. Adjusters learned a new approach to Customer Care, after dealing with a traumatic event.  Dr. Shelton even spoke on the adjusters "well-being" after working storm events and the trauma they can endure.

Salem Fire-EMS Dept Citizens Academy #1

Lisa Bain of SERVPRO graduated from the first Salem Fire-EMS Dept Citizens Academy!  The academy was a 10 week program for citizens to learn about fire service and what is like to serve the public in their hour of need.  They were able to train with the firefighters and EMS and learn the techniques used in rescues.  

Thanks so much to the Salem Fire-EMS Department for giving our citizens a wonderful opportunity!  GREAT work done by all!

2015 Salem Firefighters Breakfast

Retirees from the City of Salem Fire Department were treated to breakfast by their fellow fire fighters for a special fifth annual breakfast. The event is organized by the Salem Professional Firefighter local and Salem Fire Department. Breakfast was sponsored by SERVPRO of Roanoke County, TLC, and John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home.
